Just as everyone was packing the skis away for another year, lo and behold we had a spring dump that all but closed Frankton Road and Queenstown Airport, but gave local ski fields Coronet Peak and The Remarkables a much needed revival.
Most locals agree that right now we have the best powder of the season - if you don’t believe us, take a look at our live web cams and feast your eyes on the Remarkable view!
Get your powder fix in before the end of the season in October, and if you make it for this weekend (September 15 and 16), NZSki are offering half-price day passes!
Earnslaw lodge has a door-to-door pick up service for the ski fields and has a secure drying room for all your gear. Check out the rest of our facilities here.
